"God's Love is deeper than any grave"

Every stone in a graveyard has a story, a story known to those who visit, a story fully known by God. We would ask visitors to the graveyard to please have respect for those who are remembering loved ones.

An unofficial list of names and approximate locations for the graves in the graveyard around the church can be found by cluking here on one of these two links (with apologies that the scan is wonky):

Map and names A-L
Names L-Z

The church is extremely grateful to the Parish Council for maintaining the graveyard and the adjacent burial ground, in which is buried the famous World War 1 poet Edmund Blunden who lived in this village towards the end of his life.

If you have any enquiries about the location of graves or about obtaining a plot in the please contact Mr Sawyer on : alansawyer9@googlemail.com.
