Lent lunches will be taking place this year at St Catherine's, Long Melford (CO10 9JU) from 12.30pm on the following dates
Fridays 14, 21, 28 Mar and 4, 11th Apr
Lent is traditionally a time for fasting, prayer and reflection. We mark this season by having a series of simple lunches consisting of soup and bread followed by coffee. We also think about those less fortunate than ourselves. At the same time, eating together is a social affair - we do not sit and eat in silence!
People are encouraged to make a donation towards the food in support of charity.
