Confirmation

Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you were christened / baptized as a baby. We hold confirmation classes during which candidates can explore their faith and ask questions in a safe environment before making a personal commitment to live a life of discipleship (but there is of course no obligation to be confirmed, and you would be welcome to attend if you have not been Christened). 

The next course is due to start on Jan 13th and will be on Monday evenings for 5 weeks. If you would like to attend, please call the church office on 01787 310 845. For the flyer please click here. 

After the course candidates there will be the opportunity to get baptised for those not Christened as a baby. There is also a service for those who have been Christened where a candidate's faith is is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop. The Church will pray for God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus.
